Step 1: Multiply your weight by your body fat %.

            Ex. 180 x .07=12.6

Step 2: Subtract your body fat by your total weight to determine your lean body mass (LBM).

            Ex. 180-12.6=168.4

Step 3: Divide your LBM by 1 minus the goal body fat %.   (We will say that our goal is 5%.)

            Ex 168.4 /(1-.05)=177.26

Step 4: This number represents your goal weight.   However, to maintain your 168.4 LBM you must keep a close eye on your goal body fat %.
